Join us for coffee, morning snacks and conversation at our popular morning networking event, hosted this month at the Coweta Chamber office by Heather Simon with Top Flite Financial.
As October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we will be collecting personal hygiene items and other household essentials to donate to Linda’s House, a crisis shelter and safe house operated by our chamber investors with Help in Crisis. Wagoner County DV/SA Advocate Heather Wright said Linda’s House serves an average of 22 families/domestic violence victims on a monthly basis.
The current list of needs at the shelter include toothbrushes, toothpaste, toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, hairbrushes, combs, dish soap, laundry soap, pillows, towels, sheets, comforters and cleaning products.
If you can help with this project, please bring any of the above listed items with you. We have string backpacks available at the chamber office if you would like to pick one up to place items in. We will deliver the bags to Help in Crisis at the end of the month.
Coffee & Conversation is a casual get-together to start your workday on a positive note with your business peers. Remember to bring a friend, your business cards and let's make those business connections!
Hope to see you on October 10!
