DESCRIPTION:Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children\, Inc. is now taking applications for the next volunteer advocate training which will begin April 29th. The training will run from 5:00p to 9:00p Mon.\, Tues. and Thurs. evenings through May 9th.\n\n	Through their court appointments\, advocates research the backgrounds of the cases and make recommendations to the courts.  Their recommendations represent what they believe to be in the child's best interest. The single purpose of volunteers is to protect and guide the child through the court system to help them find a safe\, nurturing and permanent home.  \n\n	CASA is a non-profit organization and we welcome volunteers from all cultures\, professions\, ethnic and educational backgrounds. Volunteers are needed for both Muskogee and Wagoner Counties. For more information\, call 918 686-8199 or email at casaforchildren@sbcglobal.net.
