Community development is defined as a process in which community members come together to take collective action and generate solutions to common problems. It is a broad concept, applied to practices of civic leaders, activists, involved citizens and professionals to improve various aspects of communities.
Join us for our July 22 General Membership Meeting as Jessica Gough, Community and Economic Development Director for the City of Coweta, will discuss “Partnerships in Community Development”. She will address local efforts to build partnerships that can strengthen our community.
This is a free meeting. No meal will be served, but we encourage you to bring lunch with you. Support a local restaurant, pick up a "to go" order or brown bag it from home. Remember your business cards for networking opportunities.
